“North Caicos is regarded as the emerald isle, ideal for agriculture, mariculture, but with a location so close to Provo there is much more potential than this” Conrad Higgs, Chief Executive Officer, TCInvest

North Caicos is the second largest Island in the chain with over 7 miles of white, sandy beaches and inlets. Consisting of Heritage Sites including plantations and nature reserves including flamingo nesting sites, special care has been taken to preserve the history and culture of the Turks & Caicos on this island.

Craft cooperatives are productive on this island but more eco-businesses could be established here. The island is known as the "breadbasket of the Turks and Caicos Islands " or "the emerald isle" - names which highlight the potential for agricultural development in particular.
